Ivan Vladislavić
Ivan Vladislavić, who was born in Pretoria in 1957, is one of South Africa's most acclaimed novelists. His first book, Missing Persons, a collection of short stories, won the Olive Schreiner Prize, while The Folly, his first novel, won the CNA Literary Award. A contributor to Granta, his other books include The Restless Supermarket, Propaganda by Monuments, which won the Sunday Times Alan Paton Award, and Portrait with Keys: The City of Johannesburg Unlocked. | |
